What is the CAT percentile scoring system?

CAT uses percentile scores, not raw marks. A 99 percentile means you scored better than 99% of all test-takers. Most top IIMs require 99+ percentile for their programs.

Are there sectional time limits in CAT?

Yes. Each of the three sections (VARC, DILR, QA) has a 40-minute time limit. You cannot switch to another section early, and you cannot return to a previous section.

What is a good CAT score for IIM Ahmedabad?

IIM Ahmedabad typically requires 99+ overall percentile with no section below 95 percentile. For other IIMs, 95-98 overall percentile with balanced section scores is competitive.
